Welcome to Legacy Gardens of Spokane Adult Family Home

Spokane, WA – Our Adult Family Home is located at 318 W. 33rd Ave., a block and a half from beautiful Comstock Park on the South Hill.  We have 2,468 sq. ft. of main floor living, which is wheelchair, walker, sit-to-stand and hoyer lift accessible.  Being so close to Sacred Heart and Deaconess Hospitals, St. Lukes Rehabilitation Institute, along with many doctors offices, makes it very convenient for residents and family members.  Our 24 hour caregiver team is very compassionate, and have extensive care-giving experience.

Cleanliness of our home and making sure everything is sanitary is also something we take very seriously. We hire an outside service to sanitize and provide all of our sheets, pillow cases, incontinent pads and linens.  This also allows our caregivers to focus on spending more quality time with your loved one.

Our powerful Honda Generator proved to be a real life saver during Windstorm 2015, when we went without power for 11 days.  We had heat, hot water, lights, an HD T.V. antenna, and with gas burners on the stove we were able to continue cooking.  Curling hair, making coffee, doing crafts, exercises and watching T.V. continued as usual.  When the fire department called to check on us they seemed shocked at how comfortable we were, for we were located in what became known as “Ground Zero” due to how many trees were blown over, taking out power lines and causing damage to homes.  Ryan was quoted in the Spokesman Review’s Article about the storm, and how much elders were being effected.
