Our Story…
Prior to owning an Adult Family Home, we took care of Kenda’s grandparents through their end of life, and we were saddened by the quality of care that was available both by paid in-house care companies, and at outside facilities.
After experiencing so much frustration with our lack of options, we invited Ryan’s grandma to live with us in 2008 when she was in need of more assistance, and had made the decision to sell her home. This experience of having grandma live with us, lead us to opening our home and hearts to other elders who want the same quality and compassionate care that we were able to give grandma until she passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2012.
We encourage you to do your research while choosing the right place to call “Home” for you or your loved one. If you are looking for a caring family environment, where you will be treated like part of the family, your search is over. Our youngest daughter Kaylee becomes a built-in granddaughter and entertainer, and our two Shih Tzu’s, Koko and Oreo, are great for companionship and pet therapy. We also have two well trained German Shepards who take their job of keeping our residents safe to heart. They love to make rounds with our caregivers at night, checking to make sure all is well with their friends.
